Course Description
Regeneration of bone deficiencies requires 1) proper diagnosis, 2) risk assessment to determine the likelihood of achieving success, 3) selection of appropriate technique, material and protocol, 4) careful surgical execution and 5) follow-up and management of complications. Although many techniques, material and protocol are available, emphasis will be placed on those, which are: evidence based, have highest potential for achieving desired outcomes, associated with lower patient morbidity and less chance of complication.
This course will begin with explanation of the concepts and theoretical aspects, followed by description of step-by-step protocol. The hands-on component will begin with a demonstration and followed by execution of each procedure by participants.

- Flap management for effective ridge augmentation
- Bone augmentation and graft stabilization
- Complications: recognition and management
